Photography Workshops in Tuscany

Private landscape photography lessons, tailored to your experience and goals

I offer private photography workshops in Tuscany and Italy, designed for photographers who want to improve their technical skills, visual awareness, and personal approach to landscape photography.

Unlike standard photo tours, these workshops are focused on learning: one-to-one or small group lessons, fully customized and developed around your level, interests, and available time.

Workshops are available on request and can last from one day to several days.

How Workshops Differ from Photo Tours

Photography workshops are educational experiences, not guided photo trips.

While my Photo Tours focus on exploration, atmosphere, and shooting in exceptional locations, workshops are structured lessons, combining practice, theory, and individual feedback.

Workshops are ideal if you want to:

  • Understand light, composition, and timing more deeply

  • Improve your landscape photography workflow

  • Work on specific technical or creative challenges

  • Receive direct guidance and constructive critique

Workshop Format

All workshops are private or for very small groups.

  • One-to-one lessons or small groups

  • One or multiple days

  • Flexible schedule based on light and conditions

  • Locations chosen according to season and objectives

  • English and Italian spoken

Workshops can take place in:

  • Tuscany (Val d’Orcia, Chianti, Crete Senesi, Maremma)

  • Selected locations in Umbria

What We Work On

Each workshop is adapted to the participant, but may include:

  • Landscape composition and visual structure

  • Understanding natural light and weather conditions

  • Camera settings and field technique

  • Use of filters and long exposures (when appropriate)

  • Shooting workflow in real conditions

  • Image selection and editing (Lightroom / Camera Raw / Photoshop think-through, not “recipes”)

Lessons take place directly in the field, alternating shooting sessions and practical explanations.

Who These Workshops Are For

These workshops are suitable for:

  • Beginners who want a solid foundation

  • Enthusiast photographers looking to improve consistency

  • Advanced photographers refining their personal vision

You don’t need to be an expert — only motivated and curious.

Workshops on Request

I don’t run fixed-date group workshops.

Every photography workshop is planned individually, based on:

  • Your experience level

  • The season

  • The locations you’re interested in

  • The amount of time you have

If you’re primarily interested in photographing Tuscany without a strong educational focus, a Private Photo Tour may be the better option.
